About the Sanctuary

Hillfields Animal Sanctuary was founded over 40 years ago by Linda Tudor, and started in a small way with a few waifs and strays, ranging from pets to farm animals.

The number of animals at Hillfields has steadily increased and we are now home to over a staggering 300 animals, consisting of horses, goats, pigs, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and other birds plus many more.

The animals at Hillfields have all been rescued from neglect and cruelty or taken in when their owners simply did not want them anymore. Our sanctuary policy dictates that every animal who comes to us, lives out their days here, free from fear of further neglect or cruelty.
